What is so great about corals is that just about anyone can pull them off. The beautiful tone compliments beauty in more ways than I can even start to imagine!

I went through my collection and pulled out some of my most favorite coral lip products. Most are from the drug store, which surprised me- it just goes to show you how magical the drugstore can truly be :)

UPDATES + L'Oreal Magicsmooth Souffle Blush

Summer is OFFICIALLY here for me! I am so excited and feel so accomplished. I had an amazing semester and met some amazing new friends.

Check out my most recent video here!

This past weekend was the Hoop Path workshop (for my non-hooper viewers, that is a workshop that consists of inner and outer hoop work. It was very healing for me and I feel that I've come out of these last couple of hard months with a new light!

Today I have a quick review over a product that I have fallen in LOVE with, cream blushes. I love most all cream blushes I have tried, but I want to particularly point out these

L'Oreal Magicsmooth Souffle Blushes

At first I wasn't pleased with this product, but when I learned how to properly apply it I hadn't seen a blush that gave me such a wonderful pore-less and smooth finish. It has been said that if you don't have close to perfect skin, this blush is hard to pull off. I have not tried this product on ache prone skin yet but will keep you all updated on what I learn. But personally, it works wonders for me even during my serborrhic dermatitis outbreaks!

The whipped texture makes for easy application that looks airbrushed and flawless/natural. I apply the product using my clean finger tips but have found that stifling brushes work just as well!

What so great about these blushes are that. The color range is not that wide, but do include some very versatile natural flushed colors.

As of tomorrow I will start putting up more detailed images of the products I review!
Get the blushes here or at your local drugstore!

NAKED nail varnish | Urban Decay

The hype about the Naked 1 and 2 pallets is a hype that can not be denied.

These palettes have such a strong following because they are the ultimate collection of neutrals that include a wonderful range of pigmented and rich shadows that are easy to blend.

These varnishes were recently released and I was instantly drawn to them assuming that since the naked palette was such good quality that so would the varnish colors.

The colors in this package are very petty in the bottle and are great for people who don't like to mess with crazy colors. I was diss appointed to find that the colors were not very pigmented and took 3-4 coats to start to really see the potential of each nail varnish.

Once the colors where properly applied to the nail, I thought they were beautiful! Since they a neutral, that make it very easy to reach for on a day to day basis.

You can get the varnishes here!

Hope you all are having a beautiful day!

Favorite Mascara Combo! Clump Crusher + TooFaced Nylon Fiber Extensions

So I have always been a junkie for good mascara. Having semi-short eyelashes, I strive for long luxurious lashes (like most girls I feel do)

There have been a few mascaras that I have been most attached too and have worked best for my lashes. These include the Chanel Le Volume Mascara  and They’re Real! from Benefit. I have also been really loving the mascaras Maybeline has been putting out such as Rocket, and clump crusher.

Awhile back I bought the TooFaced False Lash extensions. I had multiple problems with this product and it ended up just being pushed into the back of my collection.

For some reason the mascara the fibers came with made my lashes clump and look like spider lashes. The fibers worked great though!  I decided to try using the fibers with other mascaras, and lone behold, it worked!

I love using the clump crusher with the fibers the most because after about three coats of both the fibers and the mascara, one is able to achieved long and clump-free lashes!

So needless to say I have been completely in love with this combo and will be sure to keep you all updated on other mascaras that work well with the fibers!

Have a beautiful day!

TARTE Maracuja Lip Exfoliant Review

I constantly feel like I am on an endless hunt fot eh perfect lip prodcuts. They either don't moisturize enough, or moisturize great but only last about 5 minutes, or just plain out o not work at all.

I have to say that this is by far my favorite lip scrub I have ever placed my hands on. Tatre, being an organic line (which I love) created this lip scrub using

What I love about this scrub is how fine the sugar is, it makes for a really smooth exfoliation (as well as the antioxidants and vitamin C which also provide smoothness) plus since it is organic you can lick the sugar off your lips for a minty, refreshing treat!

The maracuja oil leaves the lips feeling firm, smooth and hydrated!

The only issue I find with this is that is does not keep a good moisturized lip after the lips are exfoliated, they actually kind of seem dried out (very similar to a facial exfoliation). I usually follow this product up with some sort of lip balm.

The packaging is very cute too and is easily stored.

You get  0.7 oz of this product for $16.00 and a little bit goes a long way with this stuff, so it's worth the money. If you're in the market for a good lip scrub, I highly suggest trying this!

L'Oreal GlamShine Stain Splash (YSL GLossy Stain dupe)

I finally decided to give these L'Oreal GlamShine Stain Splash go when I realized I didn't want to buy the ridiculously over priced YSL version of these. Although these are in fact a "dupe" of the YSL Glossy Stain, they seem to feel the same as the YSL as well as act the same in regards to the formula. I do think YSL has better colors, but I was able to pick up a few of these that I did think were worth the $7.99 - $9.99 that they cost.

They have a wonderful creamy texture that feels smooth on the lips until it dries, then changes into a more rich version of the orginal application. I found that applying around 4 coats will show the color at it's best.

Being a fidgity person, I am always moving, eating, drinking, chewing, alking, etc. which can soetimes result in lipstick being all over my face. Unfortunatley hat look is no  longer in season.

These have been the answer to my problem, they last all day through rain and shine, eating and drinkng, and unfortunately, not kissing. But I have heard that this is a very kiss-able lip stain without losing too much of their color.

Radiant Creamy Concealer Review | NARS

Beauty lovers!

In celebration on my new design layout finally coming into action,, I want to do a quick review! I would love feedback from you all to let me know what I should or should not change about the blog layout!

A huge THANK YOU to Dave Swanson who created this design for all my Social Media Au De Couture sites.

I want to do a quick rave of a product that I have COMPLETELY fallen in love with. I have been on an endless journey to find a concealer that would keep my under eye area moisturized ( I have very dry skin), not crease ( I have a horrible problem with concealers creasing on me after the HOUR mark), and will have a long-wear formula.

Although many concealers claim they do these things, they often fail to do so. This new Radiant creamy concealer from NARS has been a little miracle.

The concealer is a light to very build-able medium coverage that has a luminous finish and incredible smooth texture for amazing blending. I have absolutely loved the light-diffusing technology recent products I have picked up have had. It leaves the skin blurred of imperfections as well as hydrated with NARS' multi-benefical properties within the product.
FACTS:

  • Long wearing and crease-proof. <--truly a dream come true!
  • Paraben-free, Alcohol free, Synthetic fragrance free, Non commedogenic.

Lip Balm Lipstick Review | Stilla Cosmetics

Hello my beauty friends!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up much with the updates! I am crazy busy with finals, but only have three weeks left so I should be rocking awesome stuff out soon!
I am working on figuring out a good method that will work for my schedule in order to post and post often.

Today I have a special little little product too review that I have absolutely fallen in love with!
These Spring Collection Stilla Lip Balm Lipsticks are INCREDBILE. They have beautiful pigmentation and great moisurizing power. The minty "taste" they leave behind is cooling and refreshing on the lips!

A few facts:
  • Creamy and hydrating formula with phytoderived emollient properties
  • Certified organic sunflower based polyglycerides hydrates and smooth lip contours, while adding volume and definition
  • Naturally cooling peppermint oil is an emollient-rich botanical that provides excellent antiseptic and astringent benefits with a refreshing tingle that both soothes and stimulates irritated lips
  • A handy mirror on top of the cap for easy application on-the-go

I chose two pinks of the 9 shades that the collection had to offer, but all of them were beautiful!

Amelia is pink-taupe that is great for those days that you want some color but don't want COLOR! I have found this to be a great everyday lip shade for the Spring and it goes with most the Spring looks I have been doing!

Betsy, my personal favorite, is a Hot Pink with cool undertones.  love to wear this shade of the day sI want to rock the "POP! of NEon" trend that is going on this Spring. These are so easy to use, lip liner not needed!

I hope you enjoyed this quick review and will go out and try some of these wonderful lippies! Hopefully uou will love them as much as I have! I plan on going to get a couple more tomorrow, actually ;)

NAKED Skin Foundation & NAKED Skin BB Cream Review | Urban Decay

So I recently went on a mad shopping haul for Spring. I will post pictures soon, I was much too exhausted form shopping to film a haul.

Plus the only real, good videos I have made have been hauls, so I say a break is needed. Ya?

Today I have a quick review of a product I have been curious about for awhile now and have finally been able to get my hands on.

I am a huge fan on most Urban Decay products. I hadn't heard many good things about their foundation; therefore, I just blew off the idea of using it completely. When I was at Sephora recently, the sales woman told me that the foundation was medium to high coverage, had many benefits, and felt like nothing was on the skin (hence the name NAKED SKIN).

I picked up the foundation in the shade 4.5, as well as the NAKED SKIN BB Cream. The sales lady proceeded to tell me how AMAZING the BB cream was, which is why we got on the topic of the NAKED SKIN foundation in the first place. She truly did sell me on both the products after making them sound as if they were flawless products from the gods!

The packaging is very nice as well. Although it is on the larger size, it is sleek and has a great pump for easy application.

The NAKED SKIN foundation has a great color range ( 0.5-12.0), which makes it very versatile. The shades that have . in the number are more beige tons, while the whole numbers are more yellow based shades. The coverage was medium and very build able, and was in fact very light on the skin. I will have to say though, it didn't feel like there wasn't anything on my skin, but like I said, it was very light.

I would have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars! I have been loving using this over the BB cream. It create a very natural finish with coverage that is very controllable. If I want light coverage, I can achieve it. I think this is a great quality for people who like to switch up the amount of face makeup they wear.

The BB cream comes in once shade that adjusts itself to the tone of you skim. It's literally like you just added a gaussian bur layer over your face! I found that I need to apply concealer before I put the BB cream on though because the coverage seems to be a bit on the light side.

Although the coverage of the BB Cream is light, I have been able to build it up just a tad.

No Makeup

 NAKID BB Cream

NAKIND Skin (4.5) I suggest going two shades darker if you purchase this foundation
